  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

  1. Start by marinating the chicken. In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (keep the marinade) and cook until browned and fully cooked. Set the chicken aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the reserved marinade. Mix cornstarch with a little water and add it to the marinade. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and pour the thickened orange sauce over it.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top.
  7. Serve the Asian-Inspired Orange Chicken over steamed jasmine rice and enjoy the symphony of flavors!
